Spotlight On: Beaumont Organic

23 Nov

I have been aware of ethical organic fashion label Beaumont Organic for quite a while, after attending a Manchester Fashion Network talk with founder Hannah Beaumont a couple of years ago. I have seen it grow from strength to strength, from starting out with just 8 pieces to now having a fully fledged collection which even includes a fabulously sophisticated homeware section. (My MFN post reveals more about Hannah’s beginnings – you can check that out here).

Beaumont Organic aims to produce items that are eco-friendly, organic and produced fairly but are also stylish, elegant and feel luxurious to wear. Founder Hannah felt there was a real gap in the market for this when she set up the company in 2008 and wanted to work with premium fabrics to offer timeless, classic items. All pieces are designed to be simple, stylish and classy; prices range from £9.00 to upwards of £200 which Beaumont Organic call ‘affordable luxury’.

Beaumont Organic kindly sent me the gorgeous Winifred 100% wool A-Line skirt in a brown/camel colour which arrived in the most stylish packaging that I almost didn’t want to open! It felt so cosy and premium and will be perfect for any autumn/winter. Though not the cheapest for everyone at £175, it absolutely feels like a classic investment piece that can stay in my wardrobe for many years to come and can be dressed both up and down – see how I styled it initially here. I think anything from Beaumont Organic would make a quality gift or treat for yourself and hopefully over the years I can continue adding to my organic collection.

You can find Beaumont Organic in various boutiques nationwide as well as at Find out more on the website
