I am always a big fan of the Bora Aksu shows and this season was no different. To mark his 10th year anniversary at London Fashion Week, Aksu felt it the perfect time to celebrate his Turkish roots with a collection that embraced his diverse culture and it certainly paid off.
References to Aksu’s old days on the Aegean coast came through strongly with plenty of summery, breezy coastal designs and beaming sunshine yellow colours. Vibrant blue tile prints appeared on skirts and tops, there were sheer chiffon overlays, crochet trimmings, tassles, vivid magenta pinks and hot whites which all added to the holiday vibe. Get me on a plane now!
What do you think of Bora Aksu’s latest collection?
