So, this blog post is just a week late in coming but better late than never right! When did life get so busy all of a sudden?
Anyhows, last weekend my bezzie Rosie from back home came up to Manchester for a cheeky weekend visit. She arrived on Saturday evening so we went to The Alchemist for dinner where I had a gorgeous hoisin duck wrap and she had the southern fried chicken fajitas, along with some cheeky dacquiris!
We then headed back to mine to get ready before heading out into town for some partying! I wore this lovely pink cut away skirt from Shout along with a floral bralet from online fashion e-tailer She Likes, belt from Next and the comfiest ever nude boots from Select. (Excuse the dodge hair – it had been raining)!
After some recovery scrambled eggs on Sunday, we got ready for Parklife, the Manchester based weekend festival which saw the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Delilah, Labrinth, Nero, Justice and Crystal Castles, amongst many others! I wore a crochet top from FM Boutique over a black body from H&M, teamed with denim shorts from H&M and wellies from Primark!
On Monday we went for a bite to eat at this cute vintage cafe in the Northern Quarter called Sugar Junction. Everything from the decor to the staff was vintage style! I had a ham hock sandwhich whilst Rosie had a lush macaroni cheese, both around £5.
Then it was time to say goodbye! Until next time…
