Hair Affairs

Firstly, a hair bargain alert! Currently Boots are offering 2 Lee Stafford products for £8; this offer even includes the more expensive products such as the Matt Fat Hair Powder and Matt Stylee Blow Dry Jelly that cost around £8-£10. Has anyone tried Lee Stafford products that they would recommend? I’m very tempted to pop in tomorrow.

Now onto the Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Shampoo which I have fallen in love with:

Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Shampoo

I have tried the Toni and Guy Platinum Blonde Shampoo before but was quite disappointed with it as it left my hair looking a bit dull and lacklustre. This shampoo from Paul Mitchell is a totally different story however, as it really does bring out the platinum colours and doesn’t seem to weigh hair down with any colour deposits. It comes out of the tube in a vibrant purple colour which is designed to neutralise any brassiness and it doesn’t really have a strong smell of anything in particular. Usually I don’t need to use much product so my bottles tend to last between 1-2 months. It is not the cheapest out there at about £10 per bottle, though it would be a shame to have spent so much money on a hair colour for it to then discolour.
